Transformations of trig graphs and Cast diagrams

Remember when transforming graphs

f(x) + a move the graph up (y direction) by a
f(x + a) move the graph across (x direction) by - a
af(x) multiply y values by a
f(ax) multiply x values by 1/a
-f(x) reflection in x axis
f(-x) reflection in y axis

Remember when transforming trig graphs
f(ax) means that in one usual complete cycle (0 - 360 degrees) there will be a complete curves
